Martin Cummins



Martin Cummins (Vancouver, 28 novembre 1969) che interpreta Ames White è un attore canadese.

Carriera
Ha frequentato l' Actors Studio di Vancouver , dove si è esercitato sotto Mel Tuck , un pioniere di tutto rispetto di teatro canadese.

Martin è apparso in molti telefilm e film.

Dal 1996 al 1999, interpreta Nick Boyle, nella serie “Poltergeist : The Legacy”, che è stato girata nella sua città natale di Vancouver. La serie racconta la storia dei membri di una società segreta nota come la Legacy e dei loro sforzi per proteggere l'umanità dai pericoli occulti.


Martin ha utilizzato i soldi e le risorse che ha guadagnato mentre lavorara a “Poltergeist: The Legacy”, per finanziare personalmente il suo film “We All Fall Down”, che dirige ed interpreta nel 2000.

Dal 2001 al 2002 interpreta il ruolo di Ames White, antagonista della seconda stagione di “Dark Angel”.

Interpreta il ruolo di Russell Williams nel film del 2002 “Liberty Stands Still”.

Dal 2010 al 2011 interpreta il ruolo di Det. Terry Rhodes, nella serie tv canadese creata da Rick Drew, “Shattered”.


Nel 2011, ha un ruolo ricorrente come Thomas, nella serie tv “V”, remake di Visitors.

Martin ha ricevuto alcune nomination e ha vinto un Genie Award come attore non protagonista nel 2000 per “Love Come Down”.

Vita privata
Martin è il figlio di John Cummins (membro del Parlamento canadese, per Delta-Sud Richmond, British Columbia) e Sue Cummins. Ha una sorella di nome Carolyn e due sorelle maggiori di nome Kristina ed Erin.
Si è laureato presso la Seaquam Secondary School in North Delta, British Columbia nel 1987.

A partire dal 2004, non è più sposato con Brandy Ledford, da cui ha avuto un figlio.
